From the Hostis humani generis ("common enemy of mankind", usually pirates) article:

The high sea is

one of the most ancient fields of continuous human endeavor, along with that of war, farming, hunting and gathering, and prostitution

[lol]

Even better: I noticed that one of the pages that link to this image of Captain Sullenberger's famous river landing was "dating". I nosed on over, expecting great entertainment. It did not disappoint.

Unusual circumstances such as a river splashdown can bring couples together, including a man and woman aboard this flight.

It has been humorously noted that the acronym LOSER, for "light oscillation by stimulated emission of radiation," would have been more correct.

From the laser article.

"A study has shown that men like to look at women's breasts,[69] and another study showed that men prefer symmetrical breasts[70] but some studies show men preferring large, firm breasts,[71][72] while a contradictory study of British undergraduates found men preferring small breasts on women.[73] Cross-culturally, another study found "high variability" regarding the ideal breast size.[73]"

According to early and the most recent reports, Asiri's older brother had hidden one pound of PETN plastic explosives in his anal canal, which security experts described as a novel technique.

First off, Abdulmutallab the Underwear Bomber, you got one-upped. And secondly, an entire pound of PETN? Holy shit!
