Nope, not even going to happen. To quote the Nostalgia Critic's review of Space Jam: "Unfortunately they didn't make her fun, silly, goofy or zany. In fact, they didn't give her any personality at all." And need I remind you about Bunny Boobies?

It's like they're trying to piss us off! So yep, any incarnation of the Looney Tunes that decides to include this non-canon one-shot hatedom character is instantly considered Non Canon by me, personally. Like I said, it's not The Looney Tunes, it's just an All Grown Up Version of Baby Looney Tunes

^ This isn't Space Jam, however. You may notice the lack of shared writers.

You could at least wait for it to air you know.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. You should know by now that fans never wait for proof before judging things.

Hey, you know what, that's fine. I understand that this show is purely Your Mileage May Vary, and that I may be one of the few people who actually doesn't have high hopes for this. They're actually so low right now that they can't go anywhere else but up. But you're right, maybe I shouldn't be associating my preconceived notions on this new Looney Tunes Show along with my past tragedies of Looney Tunes revivals.

I think my main problem is that as a die-hard Looney Tunes Fan, I may love the shorts exactly as they were back in the Golden Age Of Animation. I actually had high hopes for Loonatics Unleashed, Baby Looney Tunes, Space Jam and Looney Tunes Back In Action when I first heard of them but was instantly crushed as soon as I watched them. But Hell for all I know, this may be one rare cases where everything magically works! I would very much love it if I was absolutely wrong about this show, and that this new revival is a comeback as refreshing as where the Looney Tunes shorts left off. But as of right now, I'm not seeing any evidence that separates this from any of the other Looney Tunes failed comebacks.

It sound a lot like Chicken Little screaming, "The sky is falling!" when people complain about shows with the barest of information available.

We've already seen the preview, the cast line up, the interviews, the promos, even the parts of the first episode of The Looney Tunes Show. As of this point, I'd say that's pretty good evidence.

I will say this though, I am very very very glad that the voice cast is pretty solid (Joe Alaskey, Billy West, Rob Paulsen, Bob Bergen, Kath Soucie and Jess Harnell). If anything, I'd probably enjoy the pilot just to hear them again.

Frankly, all I've seen from the last few WB cartoon series is proof that they did this much better 60 years ago.

For some reason this reminds me of the crying and whining before Batman The Brave And The Bold aired just because it wasn't Batman The Animated Series.

My prediction is it'll be a decent but not great show, not as good as Tiny Toon Adventures, but not as abysmally bad as Space Jam, but that won't be enough to calm the Fan Dumb down.

The thing about the Suburban Setting is, from what I've heard they picked it because it's a perfect backdrop to bounce all of the Looney Tune's craziness off of, with them even mentioning in passing an idea for a scene with Daffy in a grocery store. That comment of theirs gives me some fairly high hopes for the show.

I'll probably watch the first couple episodes when it airs. I'm cautious but still plan on judging my finalized reviews on the actual product.

I loved the original Looney Tunes and frankly I'm sort of glad they're coming back similar to how they used to be. Loonatics was grade-A trying too hard but not horrid and Baby Looney Tunes.... We don't talk about, but this actually seems to be interesting so far. In fact I only have 2 complaints.

1) Daffy's voice, it sounds... slower and not as high pitched. When I think Daffy I think a fast talking con man who always comes out losing. This voice feels too normal.

2) CG Roadrunner and Coyote but for one reason: I get the feeling Wile E. won't be as expressive, but I could be wrong.

^ If it's from the same team who did the Coyote and Roadrunner short before Legend Of The Guardians, you have NOTHING to worry about.

^What is this short?

Also, I just realized form the picture....

Why do the main three have pink female counterparts? What gives? I'm not going to knock it until I watch it, but seriously what gives?

^ 3D CGI Coyote and Roadrunner short... Great stuff, kept the same feel as the classic toons- the backgrounds even looked like they'd fit as background paintings for the old toons- only real difference being that the Coyote and Roadrunner looked a bit more painterly-style detailed. Here's a screencap from one by the same studio that ran before Cats and Dogs 2. Next is set to hit before Yogi Bear. Only in 3D showings, from what I know.

Oh man I still need to see that short, Coyote Falls! I've been trying to find it online, but all I could find was this 30 sec. clip. It debuted in front of Cats And Dogs 2 (which I had no interest in seeing) but the short looked decently made.

I wish they'd release these shorts on iTunes, like PIXAR does. From what I can tell, it's a brilliant throwback to the classic Road Runner and Coyote shorts.

Oh yeah I remember that, kinda fuzzy though. Okay then, hope has returned.

I'm still confused about the main three getting female counterparts.

Lola I understand, she was made and really needs to be used.

Female counterparts for Porky and Daffy?

Yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh..... Trying too hard.

Well Porky always had Petunia Pig, albeit her main appearances were mainly in the comics. But yeah, absolutely no reason to give Daffy one, except for something like The Bechdel Test. OR unless my WMG about it being an All Grown Up Baby Looney Tunes is actually true.

They've been speeding up his voice less and less over the years. This is the slowest it's ever been, I think.

Here's one of the lead animator's (Jessica Borutski's) student films, entitled I Love Pandas. It's pretty much Exactly What It Says on the Tin...until you get to the end. Not too shabby but this animation is too adorable for me to absorb in one take. [[youtube:GHt2JbrYTW8&feature=player_embedded#!]]

Also, just a bit of Fridge Logic, why does Bugs need to drive a car? He has consistently show to be a Tunnel King and can travel to any place in the world underground in like 5 minutes.

YMMV about the "funny" aspect (as I always thought his instantaneous digging was his most hilarious characteristic), but the short was featured from Frederator Studios, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was on CN or Nicktoons.
