D Do S? What does that stand for?
My troper wall's now my troper page, yay!So I thought today's was kinda funny, both the comic and the alt text.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)It had a nice "it's funny because it's true" ring to it.
I like "it's funny because it's true".
I laughed out loud at that one. Usually they just make me smile.
Sex, Drugs, and Rationality- sigh* A Windows joke. That never gets old, does it, Randy?
Lazy art mars otherwise decent execution of a mediocre strip. That terrible Car Talk thing had an actual background. With trees!
The promises of children are worth less than the children themselves.I do always love it when it says that stuff. It's awesome enough that I don't care that I'm not getting what I'm after.
Mathematics Is A Language.Mr Lostman, what do you think about penny arcade?
Sex, Drugs, and RationalityXKCD was just the answer to a question on University Challenge in the UK. Looks like it's moving into the mainstream.
Like Shakespeare, but with more punching@Oscredwin: What about PA?
The promises of children are worth less than the children themselves.Well they did a microsoft joke today too.
Sex, Drugs, and RationalityI don't read PA. You implying they ripped off Randall, the guy who ripped off SMBC and Pv P, or something?
The promises of children are worth less than the children themselves. No, the comics came out the same day. I was curious if you had been reading PA and thought their miscrosoft joke was ok.
Sex, Drugs, and RationalityWell, PA's just must have also sucked, because the fact that people have made jokes about Microsoft before means it's impossible to do something original with them.
Lost Man's argument could be applied equally well to any joke, ever. Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" routine? "*sigh* A dim guy repeatedly misinterprets the description that the Straight Man gives. That never gets old, does it?"
I'm also not even sure how this really qualifies as Windows-bashing anyway. You'd have to be a pretty massive fanboy to not admit that this is true.
I guess it is.I think it's more of a funny comment on a quirk of the software.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The Staff@Bring: What was the question?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.@Meta Four: I wasn't aware PA made multiple jokes with the punchline solely consisting of "lol microsoft sux" like xkcd does. Also, I forget where, but there's some fansite(?) where they edit xkcd and literally 90% of the punchlines consist of, "Well, at least it's better than Vista." I couldn't care less about PA's anyhow.
And "Who's On First" isn't entertaining. But believe me, there are original jokes; you (and Randy) aren't looking hard enough.
@Nyktos: This could apply to any software, but Randall insists on Windows jokes and also has a Mac. Your post is a bit hypocritical anyways ...
The promises of children are worth less than the children themselves. So, out of curiosity, just what would Randall have to do to make you say, "OK, that was funny. I liked it."?
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I prefer to just avoid xkcd, except for the specific comics that other people link to.

I'm curious as to how that post is hypocritical.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."
Just five days ago...
The answer is DDoS.
