Nothin', just that there was less lag on my end fighting you than there was fighting Wander, so I thought you might live closer to me than him (for reference, I hail from Eastern Texas.).
Anyway, wanna fight?
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Less? I had tons of lag, and I live in DFW. Of course, my internet at home isn't the best.
Oh, and not tonight, but soon.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyAll right, maybe tomorrow. How about you, duck?
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I tried online fighting on this once. Blegh.
Also why's the title "Cross Clash"? It says "Cross GENERATION" on the original logo.

Probably just a typo.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Bump!
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Alive, thread, BECOME ALIVE!!!
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I've been playing Team Fortress 2. I'll still be playing this, but maybe not too often.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnd my wi-fi still isn't up. Not to mention that I'll be heading to college (without my Wii) in a few days... >_>
I just realized If they make a TVC 2, I wanna be able to cancel character/color selection.
You would not believe how many wifi fights I lost cause my finger slipped on the button.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I could go for a match.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI agree. That would be nice.
As for guys looking for a match, I know that this is pretty early and I can't guarantee how good I'll be after a) months of not practicing and b) playing other fighters (MvC3, Soulcalibur IV, Super Street Fighter IV, etc.), but I'll be back home around Christmas time for about a week. I could play you guys then perhaps.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!I'll be coming home for Christmas Break in a few weeks. I'm very rusty (thanks in part to having switched over to UMvC3 and KOF XIII and not having played this in months), but I'd be glad to go a few rounds between Skyward Sword if anyone's up for it.
I'm game.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Haven't played this in a while, must be rusty. I'd love to play this more online, but I lack time...
I'm up for it. I've also not played recently, due to several other games, including UMVC 3, though.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHey, does anyone wanna go at it?
Also, lobbies for TVC 2.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! If you can wait about a week and a half, I should be able to play you.
Hopefully, they'll get around to making a TvC2, but that's probably on the backburner for now. Ultimate MvC3 just dropped, SFxT will be coming in April, Ono is lobbying for Darkstalkers 4, and TxSF (which is only around 3% complete currently) should be coming after Tekken Tag 2 is released for consoles (which probably won't be until 2012). And then we have fans asking for more traditional crossovers, like a proper Namco vs. Capcom, Capcom vs. SNK 3, Square Enix vs. Capcom, Konami vs. Capcom, etc. Not to mention that adding new Tatsunoko characters will make the game even more of a Licensing Hell...
I'm personally would want to see Platinum Games vs. Capcom
Watch SymphogearWhile I do love TVC, I think it's better to let it sit for a while before the fighting game bubble swells and pops too quickly.
Not Platinum Games vs. Cyber Connect 2?
I'd like to see No More Heroes vs. Mad World (or Platinum Games, to include Anarchy Reigns).
Mister Sir Henry Motherfucker vs. Herr Frederick Von Twirlenkiller? Dr. Shake Vs Frank? Jeane vs. Black Baron? Yes please.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyWell, add that in, too , I guess.
Watch SymphogearI'd say it's way too early for that. Platinum Games may be born from the remnants of Clover Studios, but they don't have nearly enough IPs to start a company-wide crossover like that. Maybe a SFxT-styled crossover, but even that's stretching it. The only loophole would be if there was a Sega vs. Capcom and the Platinum Games' IPs were used by Sega. But I agree with wanderlustwarrior. Fighters are finally back on the radar after about a decade in the doldrums. Another oversaturation of fighters a la the late 90s would not be an ideal situation.
As Crazy Awesome as both games are, I wholly doubt that all of those characters deserve a spot on a fighting game roster. A good handful of them are distinct enough to work, but not all of them.

I was able to make a 30-some roster with just 2 No More Heroes games and Mad World before Anarchy Reigns was even announced. It helps that both their gameplays are similar enough to the point you can just plop protagonists and bosses into on arena. There's plenty of chracters between them.
Oh, to the post above me. Yeah, company wide would be a bit of a stretch. There'd be like 3 times as many characters per Platinum's games as compared to Capcom's, unless Capcom did less series, more characters per series.
Also, I'm kind of tired on beating up on/with the same Capcom faces. TVC and MVC 3 went a long ways to change it, but I still get annoyed by Ken and Zero. I'd like to see another company make a fighting crossover.
34 total characters from both No More Heroes games and Mad World. If anyone's interested, I could post a character list.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy
I dunno about the lag...the first few matches we had there was some very noticeable latency (on my side at least, so YMMV)
It mostly fizzled out at the end though, so it wasn't too bad.
I live in the mid-atlantic region (specifically the Maryland/D.C./Virginia area), why do you ask?
