That wouldn't one round kill him though.

It seems unlikely that he could've discarded a monster strong enough to one round kill him, though.

I don't really mind this because, unlikely earlier stuff, it's not pretending to be anything but fluff. I can tolerate filler when it's not a hugely noticeable dip in quality.

Patience is key. When Dan feels he's ready to kick a plot into the comic, it will kick ass. He's already given a potential reason for Tedd's mother leaving, and his inability to use magic spells could potentially be a driving force between Lord Tedd's behaviour; seeing all his friends grow up with readily available and usable magic while he's stuck with making technology to be able to use his.

Hey, a year ago, Tedd made a Queen reference. That's gotta be good for something.

I'm not just being naive here. The guy's already showed off his storytelling prowess, and if you guys are sitting around whining about how much filler there is then it's obvious he's done something right. And that was by accident; he never intended to go that way too quick.

So if he's a great storyteller accidentally, imagine how good he'll be when he decides he's ready to tackle another major arc.

This should go without saying, but if you really aren't expecting anything better from the guy you should cut your losses and stop reading. Or at least take a break and read all the filler when it builds up and is actually half-bearable to read.

I already did that, the catch up didn't take long despite my extended break. I was just as surprised as anyone to find that upon my return he still hadn't gotten anywhere.

Looking back I stopped near the bgeinning of the Boar-arc and came back only a few pages ago, it' s been almost a year.

What Main Plot is there right now anyway?

Not much, but there have been hints towards learning the full story behind Tedd's mother and possibly seeing Cheerleadra again soon.

Oh, and it looks like the point of the filler will come down to Justin's Stompalope's special ability being "broken". My guess is that Tensaided is going to throw a bitch fit and refuse to lend Justin the movies.

Heh, I Knew It!! Overwhelming Stampede for the win! ;)

(Big MTG player here, so when I saw Justin go with the maniacal laughter, I tried to think of a real card that would justify it... and Overwhelming Stampede was what I came up with. Incidentally, Justin's version of the card seems to cost four mana rather than five, but even if he had to tap his Energy Bird he'd still be attacking for over 20 damage.)

Now, is Ten's cannon tapped? If not, can't he block one of the enemies, thus reducing the damage to, like, 19 or something?

In which case, it's Tensaided's turn, and they're both at 1 LP.

The cannon taps to attack with its ability. So it must be.
