They possibly still look like dicks depending on whether or not you believe Shobogans exist.
They often do look like dicks anyway for hyperfocusing on the Time Lords when lots of planets and races were wiped out in the war

Forever liveblogging the AvengersDo we know lots of races were wiped out? We hear of planets going boom but there's almost always refugees from them when it gets brought up.
I mean, there are those vampire fish guys, I guess.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. The Doctor's has caused more genocides than he's grieved.
Wasn't their planet eaten by one of the cracks though?
Heart of Stonethat's the weird thing about doctor who you could make up your own mind canon due to how tangled continuity can be sometimes
for example the doctors have been to 3 different versions of Atlantis (and probably more in the audio and comics)
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Thats not so weird. I could visit two different Americas or Dakotas or Carolinas or Virginias or Georgias.
Its clearly New Atlantis, West Atlantis, and Disney's Atlantis
Forever liveblogging the Avengersbut all three sink? that's convenient :p
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Didn't we already have the Atlantis discussion and work out at least 2/3 didn't really conflict (and one of the instances was attacked by the title creature in The Time Monster, so that can factor in)
most likely
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Climate change is a hell of a thing
Forever liveblogging the AvengersOh man I would love Karkus becoming a mainstay part of Who mythology.
That'd be great, but it wouldn't be the same without Zoe beating him up...
Oh God! Natural light! On that note, The Mind Robber is the next Classic Who Back When episode.
Damn I want Zoe and Jamie to come back to resolve the mind wipe thing.
Can we get a comic where Lady Me just undoes all the mind wipes the Doctor is responsible for?
Yeah; the Doctor may not have been responsible for that it, (unlike the other time that sort of thing happened...) but it'd be nice to see that resolved without Jamie getting killed by a Cyberman. (Yes, that totally happened. You can thank Doctor Who Magazine and Grant Freaking Morrison for that one.) Though I do have to admit, as much I hate Journey's End, it does give this one scene from The Next Doctor a bit more pathos:
JACKSON LAKE: All those bright and shining companions! ...But not anymore?
TENTH DOCTOR: No.
JACKSON LAKE: If I may ask, why not?
TENTH DOCTOR: They leave. Because they should, or they find someone else. And some of them, some of them forget me. I suppose in the end, they break my heart.
He wasn't just talking about Donna there. She might have been the one most on his mind at the moment, but he still remembers what happened to Jamie and Zoe, and what happened to Donna probably brought it right back to the surface. It also makes Four dumping Sarah Jane in The Hand of Fear make a lot more sense too. He didn't want to bring Sarah to Gallifrey just because of some Time Lord code of conduct; he didn't bring her because he didn't want what happened to Jamie and Zoe to happen to her. So while it would be good to have some proper closure at some point, it's not like it still hasn't left its' mark.

If you want a good "Jamie gets his memories back" story, I recommend this.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. Will have a read at somepoint, thank you for the recommendation.
The Christmas special's title was confirmed at NYCC as "The Return of Doctor Mysterio"
Spider-Man crossover confirmed?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Well, that was pretty ominous.
It's good to see another spin off with both Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures long since ended.
Torchwood's quality is not an issue either. It's just nice to know what's going on when the Doctor ain't around.
One Strip! One Strip!
I don't like the idea that the race is called Gallifreyans. It makes it look like 9, 10, and 11 were only sad all the rich people died.
And since Doctor Who has no canon and honestly 9, 10, and 11 probably mean "the sum of my race" when they say "Time Lord", well. I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
