ah yes fucknig
the filthiest russian satellite
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.Oh, wow, Osgood.
I'm pleasantly surprised she's back! Hopefully she's not killed by Missy this time.
Oh gods, what if Osgood becomes the new Rory/Clara except every time she dies it's because Missy kills her.
"We're home, Chewie."There's (well, was) only two of her, though. So there'd have to be some resets or we'll have to find a spare Osgood or four.

Song of the SirensThe real Osgood died. The Zygon duplicate is the one we're going to see next. Everyone she meets assumes the opposite, to her endless annoyance.
Don't Zygons need the person they're impersonating to still be alive?
Inconsistently.
Or maybe we will only see past Osgood. Would be a bit cruel but hey, it's Moffat.
Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.Wow, what a great essay, I can't wait to see Shabogan talk about how Dinosaurs on a Spaceship is actually about David Cameron's rule as Prime Minister [/sarcasm]
But actually, I consider myself pretty liberal and I found that article really annoying. The rich people on Titanic were evil because they got on the lifeboats before the poorer people? No, I think they just didn't want to die. You wouldn't call the poor people monsters if they did that, would you? Also, I don't think there's that much of a difference between the skills of rich people and the skills of poor people (to sn event; it depends on the gap between the specific people). Rich people would probably be able to survive on their own. And poor people would also probably be able to survive on their own, in the situation you described.
I think what annoys me most is that this description might work a lot better for a bunch of other episodes. Planet of the Ood has a very big emphasis on exploitation and how people don't care about it if they get what they want. Voyage of the Damned works great with the Titanic example as almost all the passengers are rich assholes, except for the people he befriends, although one of them is still a rich asshole. Basically, I don't understand why she's inserting political opinions on random episodes when there are so many episodes that actually bring up the points discussed.
The rich people got lifeboats first.
There's some pretty blatant favoritism there.
As far as I know, Jack Graham is a he.

It's not surprising that a self-described liberal would find that article annoying; Jack Graham is a marxist.
(It's also not surprising that a self-described liberal would completely miss the point of the article in their zeal to defend the reputation of rich people.)
And, I mean, The Beast Below is pretty obviously trying to be political commentary? It does a shite job at it, but I'm not sure how anyone could possibly see it any other way tbh.
Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. That's uncalled for.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."~Mukora, ~Bocaj, ~unnoun, ~Wackd, we're meeting Sunday at 11, right? The extent of planning that I recall was that I said Saturday was out and Wack'd said it'd have to be Sunday then, and I don't think anybody said anything.
Fresh-eyed movie blogSorry, yeah, I should be available.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Did the notification thing work, or do I have no idea how that markup goes?
Fresh-eyed movie blogI didn't get a notification, but I'm pretty sure you got the markup right.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."If you didn't get a PM, I didn't do it right.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI'll be honest—yeah, the art in Assimilation Squared sucks; yeah, most of the cast is in caricature mode, yeah all those things.
But lemme tell you it is really difficult not to pretend the comic is better than it is while you're reading it.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. So, Doctor Who is going to be airing on Disney XD. They're skipping Nine's run. They have horrible commercials.
Edited due to redundancy.
Addition: I thought the artwork for Assimilation^2 was great.

~TParadox: You have to use an at-sign: @, rather than a namespace (and omitting the namespace, as I think you did, will also break it).
I would post an escape-markup example, but for whatever stupid reason, escape markup doesn't work with this specific type of markup and nothing else.
But all in all, it's tilde (~), at-sign (@), forward slash (/), and then the troper's handle. And on top of that, it has to be in the original post. Editing it in won't do anything but make a link.
Actually the tilde doesn't actually do anything. It's just @/UserName or @/{{Username}}.
The trick to getting it to work in escape text is that the @ sign has to be in escape brackets by itself.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
Started reading Dead Romance and so far it's my favorite Faction Paradox book because it doesn't feel like it's intentionally trying to confuse me as much as possible.
Also, what did you expect would happen to Zygon Osgood, aka "Fake" Osgood? Did you think she would fly up to the sun like a fucknig piece of garbage?
