There was a problem previously of people sending unwanted avatars or spamming them to troll people so that's why share has to be turned on to receive them now.
It is one of two avatar related nonsenses I recall about tvtropes
Forever liveblogging the AvengersInteresting, Alex Kingston is one of the mothers on Marchlands. And she's in a much more dramatic role than in DW.
Well, her role in DW was pretty dramatic, but I guess I'd say she's playing a character less prone to flippancy and jokes.
Arthur Darvill was really impressive in Broadchurch. I mean, the entire show is pretty damn good, but it was weird seeing Darvill in such a dark role. He really did it justice.

I think it's usually safe to assume people would like you to save their life. But when they actually tell you not to do the thing you're doing, it's not really about them, is it? It's about you.
He's the Doctor. He could be anywhere in time and space.Preach.
On the avatar's thing, well, I like my House's Sigil.
I like your house sigul as well, as it is my house as well.
About 10 and agency, it's a theme for him start to finish, as someone pointed out above me. He seems to take the attitude of knowing what's best for everyone else despite what they might say about the matter.
Im trying to come up with other examples and Silence in the Library comes to mind, although I'm not sure it fits exactly.
I almost want to think of the situation with Donna like someone with an illness for which the treatment is just as bad as dying untreated. Sure she may be alive, but would she have been happier with her life ending the other way?
I'll show you lightning! That's a question for her to answer-OH WAIT.
Oh God! Natural light! This isn't nearly as important as Liberating Earth!
No.
I think we just have to accept it.
I wish I could go back to that naive guy who thought the End of Time was a great send-off to Ten, back when I thought Ten was a pretty cool guy and all that.
I blame all of you.
ALL OF YOU.
One Strip! One Strip!More cute thing.

He looks hella like Matt Smith, doesn't he?
Bizarrely, however, he sounds like Christopher Morris.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. We need to find something you don't like yet and analyse it until you see how wonderful it is. /they are.
...what are your feelings on Martha? Amy, River, Clara?
He's the Doctor. He could be anywhere in time and space.Who was that aimed at?
Martha is my favourite companion of the new series. She is the only one who did not receive some kind of time super power at one point or another, and the only one to leave the Doctor on her own terms without needing a spacetime anomaly of sorts. Too bad she spent much of her time with the Doctor attempting to get him to notice her.
And I still like Ten, no matter what (that may be because of David Tennant, though).

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.I love Martha and I love River. Clara warmed up on me. Rose is the only one I'm like eh about, but I blame Rose fanatics.
I'm fairly new to Who, as I think I mentioned.
Oh and whatever I did up there I'm sorry.
I'll show you lightning! Why are you talking about things that aren't Liberating Earth?
Sorry, it was not meant as a criticism of other companions (besides, you could argue that Amy left on her own accord as well). I just noticed this trend in the new series of having companions leaving because of some events outside of their control instead of simply walking away, and found Martha's story to be a bit more unique because of that. I actually like all companions of the new series, it's just that I find Martha to stand a bit out so far.
For the record, my second next is the Williams/Pond couple, very closely followed by Donna and Rose. I'm waiting for Clara to complete her journey to decide where she ranks in my preferences (though I'd have loved to have Dalek!Clara or Victorian!Clara become a companion).

Whatever your favourite work is, there is a Vocal Minority that considers it the Worst. Whatever. Ever!.That's not really something new to Doctor Who. It's not like companions didn't leave in the Classic Series due to outside events either. Susan, the first companion to leave, was left on a post-apocalyptic Earth by the Doctor himself, due to her apparently falling in love/deciding it's time she made her own way/what have you. Sarah Jane left because the Doctor was 'called' to Gallifrey, and he apparently couldn't bring her; more likely, it's because he didn't want what happened to Jamie and Zoe to happen to her. Speaking of which, Jamie and Zoe were sent back to their own times and mind-wiped by the Time-Lords, forgetting all but their very first adventures with the Doctor. If that doesn't count as leaving due to 'events outside their control', I don't know what does.

And Peri got married to Brain Blessed for no reason.
That too.
I wasn't actually aware that was a thing but I've figured it out and shared it to you now.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
