Now, are they taking him to the tower, kicking and screaming all the way, or to a tunnel out of town so Agatha and Co. can hustle off to Paris?

[up]This is Moloch. His luck is not good enough to suggest the tunnel. So, tower it is. [lol]

Of course they're not leaving.

ETA: About the only way they're going to get Agatha out of that town is unconscious over somebody's shoulder(s).

From what we've seen with Moloch, I think the best minions quickly change from igors and mechanics to agents and advisors, like the Von Mekkans - though to a Spark's perspective I suppose they're effectively the same thing.

Von Zinzer is definitely the closest thing Agatha has to a master of affairs, though. He's one of the very few people working with her we've seen so far who is not only apt and full of sense enough to do precisely what she needs without actually needing to be directed, but who can also direct orders to others and make decisions on her behalf with her best interest at heart without her even needing to know the decisions are taking place - he can be totally trusted (as far as we've seen so far), and can be counted on as a steady, if skewed source of advise and perspective. The only others I can think of right now (besides Tarvek and Gil, who are more protagonists than advisors) who do that are Zeetha and the Generals.

Definitely vizier/right-hand man material. Maybe not Grand Vizier, though (that seems to be the role Tarvek is gunning for, though at the moment he's somewhere between vizier and one of the people actually being viziered to.).

Well seems there is no early posting and given I'm burned it may be an early posting once I hit the bed since as the thesis has kept up it is directly tied to old bear and myself hitting the bed.

Ol Bear: "Now, are they taking him to the tower, kicking and screaming all the way, or to a tunnel out of town so Agatha and Co. can hustle off to Paris?"

This girl has stopped running.

She has no intention whatever of surrendering her city to the tender mercies of Baron Wulfenbach and The Other.

The gang as pirates seems like a highly awesome idea, and I really hope the next non-canon side story features them in such a role.

I can't think of who I want to see in Pirate Captain garb more... Agatha, Gil, Tarvek, Zeetha, Klaus... all of them seem like they would wear the look amazingly.

Well, maybe Klaus would wear the Navy Admiral look a bit better.

And, noooooo....Klaus would rock in the right Pirate Garb. Say Hook's greatcoat? And a Steampunk Parrot. He's gotta have a Steampunk Parrot.

Who would have the peg leg?

The bionic peg leg which in times of crisis is deadly at up to a twelve league radius, naturally.

I love Dimo with the big picture perspective and Oggie giving Tarvek the in-law interrogation. I can't wait to see what Agatha's wielding by the time they get to the tower. Gil's really not going to recognize his zappy stick if/when he ever sees it again.

Clockwork parrot... it only reminds me of this which is a close picture of what some parrots are like.

And yes it has been a while with the boys, they are genre savvy and they are praising Tarvek as a schmot guy, which translates into points for Tarvek.

Klaus in pirate garb and the only thing I can picture with it is Bang picking the garb for Klaus.

She'd do it with the right flair for sure! All good cheer, and you know, I think Klaus would enjoy it too, he likes being a snappy dresser.

Why is Dimo so surprised a Heterodyne would Spark while fighting? You'd think that came standard with the package considering their history. It's no crazier than opening the gates of the city so you can see the enemy war stompers better.

Poor Tarvek, he looks so tired in the last panel. I think my favorite expression on this page (and it's full of good ones) is Agatha's in the second panel, such innocent realization as Dimo points out the obvious to her. He's a good minion too.
