Robot King is growing on me. I just noticed his crown is just a flat piece of metal bolted to the back of his head.
You think he's the king just because he bolted a crown to his head? Seems plausible to me.

Either she's trying very hard not to laugh, or she pulled a Jones and deflected a piece of metal off her face immediately before that panel, and those stars are the sparks.

It's actually not. The hole is just really small, but the decorations outside make it look like it should be in the distance.

I think it's a double alcove. The first opening is in the brown wall, and is regular-door sized. The alcove formed by that opening has grey walls, and the final tunnel is in the grey wall that forms the back of the alcove in the brown wall. The rounded vase is sitting beside the door to the alcove, the cylindrical vases are inside the alcove beside the actual tunnel opening.

Not really.
Here's the S-1 going into the tunnel in the third frame and Annie going through it in the sixth.
And in the fifth frame here you can see that the S-1 was shorter than both Kat and Annie. So if he had to crouch down that low to get through the tunnel, it's about the same size as in the latest page.
