They have boats and oceans and everything.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe last trip they had included robotic laser cows. Like normal cows, but with lasers. If this trip has anything like it (let's say mechanical dolphins), it will be worthwhile.

I'm suspecting either a kraken or a leviathan.
They'll cruise the SCS, be taken hostage by the Black Lagoon company, and the girls will get fashion tips from Rock.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."How big is Gunnerkrigg?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Unknown.
I'm still sure it ain't big enough to be near the ocean.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThe thing about England is that you're never more than about two hours drive away from the coast.
Um. That's highly dependant on traffic. And, the roads going either East-West or West-East? Aren't exactly efficient...
Well, unless we're talking Wales. <_< In which case, the usual North-South bias also goes AWOL and the whole network just goes for "sodding shoddily designed: good luck finding anything close to crow-flying". As for Scotland: potholes of pain... added to terrible system design.
Britain: making a short distance last a long time and go a long way. (And, you thought the only thing TARDIS-y about the place could be found in Doctor Who... )

That is a very strange thin to say, when we don't know how far from the ocean the Court is in the first place. For all we know, it might be just off the coast. In fact, this page does imply the sea is not that far away..
To be frank, it seems to be on the eastern coast, somewhere. Northern, probably.
Uh... Northumbria, what are you hiding?
Year ten? They're older than I thought.
I think somewhere it was stated that it's the size of a small city. I believe it was compared to Birmingham. This is not reliable however as it's a vague memory.

Trump delenda estThe Court is large enough to have more than one rail system. Large enough that a trip to the barbershop requires the girls to switch modes of transportation three times. Large enough to hide an artificial lake. It's big.
It's smaller on the outside.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."I'm fairly certain that both the court and the forest don't entirely exist on Earth. They seem more metaphorical than real to me. So maybe the Court exists in 'Britain', but I don't think it exists in the same way as, say, Oxford.

Considering that the Court started in the middle of Gillitie, it's basically converted Forest land. And the Forest is essentially Fairyland, which doesn't fit into time and space normally.
The wood is actually a small patch of trees just off the M1.
Assuming this isn't taking place inside the Court is this the first time we've ventured outside it and the surrounding forest outside of flashbacks?
Yeah, I think it is. Although I wouldn't put it past the Court to have enough space for a cruise ship...
We saw photos of Kat's vacation to Scotland and Italy, but Annie hasn't left the Court/Forest area since the comic started.
So, this should be nice.
Unless that bad feeling I got from the chapter title turns out to be justified.
