I haven't read Hunter X Hunter, but a complex power system isn't always a good indication. The Nasuverse has a complicated cosmology and mechanics, but it would be far better without all this technobabble jargon.

So... What's the deal with the Road to Ninja movie? Where in the timeline is it supposed to take place? I mean, I hear all of the Akatsuki show up in the beginning for a joint attack on Konoha, before Tobi shows up and uses some kind of Genjutsu/Space-Time Jutsu to either lock Naruto and Sakura in a Lotus-Eater Machine illusion or throw them into an Alternate Universe outright.

Looks a little bit like that Ai Enma chick or whoever it was.

Nen has too much potential to exploit that it's stupid as a power for a shounen, excepting that all shonen protagonists are morons(usually) and so could not figure out all the many loopholes it has.

Creating names for characters is a huuuuge pain in the ass.

It's easy, just choose one that sounds cool without it having to be meaningful.

Ambrosia Clow, for example.

Or Victoria Nerfherder.

At least it has Netero.

Don't go for complexity, that's my rule of thumb.
