• Adorkable:
  • Ashta is a friendly Octoling who goes full Squee mode over Aku's Artificial Limbs.
  • Even when pissed off and trying to come off as serious and hardened after his helmet got stolen, Shugou still can't help his lovable dorkiness.
• Harsher in Hindsight: TNT's strange flickering in Two For The Blight of One, heavily implied to just be a hologram, becomes this after TNT took an extended leave from the team in mid-2019.
• He Really Can Act: Bella and Aku show some emotional range at the climax of Secret of the Sylveon, Bellas despair and Aku's rage are quite believable
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Inklings (mainly Polod) bothering Aku due to his Smasher heritage became this after Inklings joined the Smash Bros roster as of Ultimate. Naturally, Qui-key Rule #209 took this joke and ran with it.
  • Tetroda Notix is an Octoling based on the Blue-Ringed Octopus, come Sizzle Season 2023 for Splatoon 3, and an official piece of artwork depicting a blue-ringed octoling ^Note later revealed to be named "Tao Blu" is revealed. The team was very quick to respond.
  Description: "Add this to the discreet list of "Things we beat official companies to the punch." No, it will not be publicized."
• I Knew It!:
  • A couple viewers correctly guessed for Interwoven Fates, Jingwei is Mello
  • Similarly, the episode after, Call of the Inky Void, a few viewers correctly predicted that the mysterious "InkayFan14" was actually TheInvertedShadow
• Retroactive Recognition: In Apparitious Armory, Moesashi was voiced by Marissa Lenti before she began her voice acting career in Texas.
• Tear Jerker: Bella's complete breakdown in Secret of The Sylveon is actually pretty damn heartbreaking
