- Designated Hero: The intro shows Zapper being a borderline Big Brother Bully towards his younger brother Zipper, using him as an antenna for the TV, and only saving him so he can watch TV for himself.
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: The game can be completed in just 16 minutes.
- Not-So-Cheap Imitation: While this definitely shows the toolmarks of having been planned as a Frogger sequel, it's evident it would've been a damn good one, with several expansions upon the formula the past two games established. And gameplay aside, it manages an aesthetic all its own, with only surface-level similarities to its roots.
- Porting Disaster: The PC version, while not too different from its console versions, completely removed the multiplayer mode and the audio for the intro cutscene is in astonishingly bad quality (for some inexplicable reason, it was downsampled to a meagre 8 kHz). The audio for the Blitz logo is also screwed up.
- Self-Imposed Challenge: Getting 100% Completion on expert mode without losing a single life. Doing it on normal mode is hard enough (especially from the second half onwards), but now you've got to worry about Maggie tailing you and dropping bombs on you if you spend too long in one place (thankfully, in most cases, you can temporarily shake her off if you enter a secret area).
