• Just Here for Godzilla:
  • There's a reason the English title for the video release uses the name of the monster instead of that of the hero. It's hard (if not impossible) to find a poster or cover even in Japanese that doesn't feature the Yamata no Orochi and at least one of the other kaiju, if not all of them.
  • In a more literal sense, many people have only ever heard of this movie due to the involvement of Toho's Heisei Godzilla Production Posse. In recent years, it has even been retroactively included as part of the Godzilla extended franchise alongside other Toho tokusatsu films like Latitude Zero and The Mysterians.
