• Alternative Character Interpretation: Would Voron's influence really linger posthumously in his remaining descendants, or is Vinyl just that traumatized by what went down that she just feels every vampire (or at least every vampire related to him) needs to die, herself included?
• Awesome Music: Monster^note No, not that one. Not that one either., a chilling and heartbreaking dubstep tune sung by Vinyl's voice actress from the audio adaptation and used for its finale that recaps the story's premise, even starting the last chorus with a melodic wail that devolves into a primal, guttural roar.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Some viewers lost sympathy for Vinyl at the epilogue, feeling that not only did she disregard Octavia's dying plea to live on for her, but murdering foals makes it less likely for Vinyl to reunite with her depending on what the afterlife is like in the MLP universe, and it overall seems pointless considering Voron is no longer around to influence them.
