  • To some people, listening to Limhang's song is cringing. As one blog commentator describe that scene:
  Jet:"The first time I saw Limhang sing, his character went down the drain, dancing around and hugging a tree is not manly."
  • Another main critique from viewers is the characters speaking Taglish or very vernacular Tagalog despite the fact the movie is set in pre-colonial Philippines. Imagine if Pocahontas spoke in US slang, and that's basically the gist.
