  • Continuity Lockout: Many episodes mention what was Katya and Trixie's positions in RuPaul's Drag Race, as well as their return in All Stars, which will spoil viewers who haven't watched it yet, most notably, "Winning And Losing" has Trixie talking about her reaction to winning her return in All Stars.
  • Fanon Discontinuity: Ep. 99, "Online Shopping", which is notorious for being essentially an episode-long plug for the online clothing retailer Klarna (this was during a period where they had a promotional partnership with World of Wonder). Fans treat the majority of the episode like it doesn't exist, and Lindsay Ellis, a noted fan of the series, can even be spotted in the comments on the video decrying it. It's frankly almost as close to an example of actual canon discontinuity as you can get without deleting the episode outright, as both Trixie and Katya (the latter in particular) have talked about how uncomfortable they were with the whole premise of having an episode-long advertisement and how they were basically blindsided by it on the day of filming (discussed in more detail on episode 54 of Whimsically Volatile, Katya's old podcast). On the bright side, the Klarna stint led to the birth of Trixie's "Swedish" voice.
  • Fountain of Memes: Dear God. There are so many Running Gags, immensely quotable lines and in-jokes it's hard to know where to begin. And fans know them all, from Katya's obsession with Contact to "why did I pick today, of all days, to turn it this hard" to "Ding, dong!"
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In one episode, Trixie says how much she hates it when Drag Queens use jeans as their drag attire. Come season 5, Trixie wears jeans in drag for the first time and spends a lot of the episode feeling herself up on how good she looks in it.
  • Memetic Mutation: Trixie and Katya have discussed multiple times hearing the phrase "pulling the padge" used out in the wild and wondered if the people using it realize that they completely made it up.
