• Base-Breaking Character: Reactions to Lickiwoodo◊ vary from people to people; instead of being a straight fusion between Lickitung and Sudowoodo, its a Sudowoodo wrapped in a Lickitung's tongue, almost looking like it's about to get devoured by it. It's either hilarious because it's so wrong, plain disturbing, or just downright terrifying.
• Nightmare Fuel: Several fusions can fall into that category.
  • Shunsir◊ is possibly one of the worst offenders; it's pretty much a rock with large thorny pincers and a gaping mouth full of sharp teeth. Imagine stepping on that by accident.
    Live Updater: We must kill it with all the fire ever.
  • On the other side of the Pinsir fusions is Pinsicross◊. Its sprite is actually taken straight from the Pokémon Gold and Silver SpaceWorld beta, as Heracross beta design reused some elements from Pinsir's own design (the latter was actually supposed to evolve into the latter at the time). The color scheme applied to it in Fused Crystal, however, makes it look surprisingly sinister, particularly highlighting its face and just how much it resembles some sort of grinning white mask.
  • If you thought M. Mime was already creepy, imagine seeing the ghost of one's floating, decapitated head, wearing a pearl necklace for extra uncanniness. That's Mismime◊ for you.
  • Aipom's face is fitting enough for its design. Put it on a Ditto however, and you get Dittopom◊, which just looks like it has a deranged Slasher Smile at all times.
  • Tentarbok◊ is what you get when you replace Arbok's tail with tentacles. It honestly wouldn't look out of place in a horror game.
    • CanisAries, an artist in part notorious for her talent with Eldritch Abomination-like designs, has actually made fanart◊ of that one. It's as horrifying as you'd expect.
