• Friendly Fandoms: Twin Runes fans are this with those of Undertale Yellow, due to akanemnon creating art of some of the game's main characters in the comic's art style, even with unofficial Dark World forms for Clover and Martlet.
• Heartwarming Moments: The entire relationship between Frisk and Kris. While they were on a rocky start, they quickly bonded over their shared Existential Horror, and Kris served as a big sibling figure for the younger kid to come to during any times of need they have. Kris is even seen affectionately calling Frisk a "nugget", showing how much they've grown to care about them as their own person.
• Tear Jerker: For a comic mainly aiming to be comedic, there are several scenes that aren't easy to read, especially those revolving around Existential Horror.
  • By their return to the Underground in a separate comic, Frisk had pretty much grown to accept Kris's bitter thoughts about them, feeling that they'd never be good friends at all. Fortunately, this loops right back around to heartwarming when Kris not only goes easier on them, but discovers they might have a bit more in common between them than they may think.
  • In a side-comic showing the trip Chara and Asriel took to get to the story's original Dark World, Chara recalls the time when they and Asriel accidentally got Asgore sick, and though they laughed it off, all it takes is Ralsei asking how it's even meant to be funny for this to well and truly shake them, leaving them only replying with a sad "I dunno...". And ironically, it was a (seemingly) alternate version of their younger brother who gave them a reality check and made them realise just how wrong the whole thing was, especially since it kickstarted the Disaster Dominoes back in their world.
  • Throughout the comic, it's made consistently clear that Kris cares for their Toriel and Asgore dearly, genuinely fearful about any possibility of Toriel being the Knight and being reduced to a partially quivering wreck when it's revealed that the two are planned to be used as sacrifices to appease the Knight.
