YMMV / Time Stop Brave

• Audience-Alienating Premise: Although the power to stop time is itself nothing problematic as a premise, the author depicts its use in perhaps the least flattering way possible, in which the main character uses it to sexually harass women and fulfill his peeping-tom desires to his heart's content. This behavior is indeed lampshaded in the manga, where his criminal acts are (perhaps only mildly) evened-out by his genuinely heroic actions, but some readers may find such a protagonist distasteful regardless.
• Awesome Ego: Swordmaster Leafa never misses a chance to narrate how great she is. Even when sneaking into a castle, she goes over how great she is in her own head. And she can back up her boast, almost killing Sekai and he narrowly survived because he activated his Time Stop powers in time and even then, he spent months keeping time still for him to recover.
• Base-Breaking Character: The main character Kuzuno Sekai himself, as mentioned above. On one hand, some may find him a reprehensible human being who represents the worst of the Wish-Fulfillment fantasy demographic—someone who abuses his Ass Pull power that conveniently fell into his lap by molesting women, only stopping short of full-on rape. Sekai doesn't seem to have any self-reflection either; with Time Stop Brave being an ecchi manga, he is unlikely to change. In fact, the raunchiness will probably only escalate as the story progresses. On the other hand, some readers may find Sekai an incredibly relatable character, who acts exactly like someone who suddenly discovered he has superpowers without earning it. Certainly he is a young man who doesn't have the sexual principles to hold back his lust, which many characters call him out for, but the trials that he faces also force him to reveal his true colors as a selfless individual who dislikes seeing innocent people suffer needlessly and understands his responsibility as the world's savior, even if he snarks and whines 85 percent of the time.
