YMMV / The Trumpet of the Swan

• Accidental Innuendo: “And when he blew that trumpet, EVERYBODY CAME!”
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Louis the Swan is no longer the only water-dwelling non-human creature named after Louis Armstrong who plays the trumpet: there's also Louis the Alligator.
• Special Effects Failure: There’s a moment in the film where a fat brown squirrel is told about Boyd and Serena’s marriage and relaying that information to Louis and the Senator, but he gets distracted by nuts before he can get very far. He finally shows up to them towards the end of the film and it acts as though he only JUST got there, however, the exact same character can be seen singing “Louis Louis Louis” alongside his squirrel friends, so either he was just stupid and didn’t even think about telling them the bad news when he was completely able to, or someone on the animation staff screwed up big time.
• Viewer Name Confusion: The title character's name is spelled "Louis," not "Louie," despite what the credits of the animated film say. It's just pronounced in the authentic French way, where the "s" is silent.
