• Alternative Character Interpretation: The event that lead to Taylor starting his movement have been interpreted and reinterpreted through various context clues.
  • Viewers with a materialist interpretation see the movie not about a man who has suffered hardships becoming a prophet, but a mentally ill man who forgoes proper medical treatment in favor of religious individuals enabling his delusions.
  • Those who take a more supernatural explanation see Trump's rise to power not as the will of God, but manipulations by the Devil. The first dream where Taylor hears Donald Trump speaking has him wreathed in flames in his seat, and most of the dreams have fire monsters tormenting him. Even the dream where a ball of glowing light could either be a Fallen Angel trying to trick him (since it comes up from the floor, as though it came from Hell) or a regular angel trying (and eventually failing) to keep them away, Taylor's own faith being used against him.
• Bile Fascination: Like God's Not Dead and Saving Christmas before it, atheist/secularist viewers and Trump's critics like to watch this movie because of how unintentionally funny the movie is.
• Narm: Taylor's wife taking a National Prayer call on the airplane, praying to Jesus while shouting at the top of her lungs in the plane's bathroom within earshot of the rest of the plane. It's so ridiculous, one of the other passengers bursts out laughing.
• Special Effect Failure: The CGI effects were bad even when the movie came out.
