• Special Effect Failure: All the close-up shots of Number 6's face on the carnival location are in front of obvious back-projection. This is because Patrick McGoohan was not present at the location shoot as he had had to return to Hollywood to complete filming on Ice Station Zebra^note he had shot most of his scenes for that film during the production of "Do Not Forsake Me Oh My Darling", hence his near-total absence from that episode so the location scenes used a body double whose face was never clearly shown on the actual location interspersed with close-ups of McGoohan in front of back-projection.
