- Harsher in Hindsight: Luz's talk about having a predetermined path becomes a lot more uncomfortable once it's revealed that she's fated to aid Belos's rise to power due to a Stable Time Loop.
- Heartwarming in Hindsight:
- During her "quest", Luz is asked by Nevareth if she thinks that love can bloom on a battlefield. It's played off as a joke at the time (and is just part of Adegast's attempts to manipulate her), but Luz does indeed find love on the battlefield in "Escaping Expulsion" when Amity coming to her rescue during the fight against the Abomaton 2.0 triggers a Love Epiphany and sets the stage for their eventual Relationship Upgrade.
- Eda tells Luz that everyone wants to believe they're special, but we have to actually do things and shouldn't simply wait to be told we're special. By taking this advice to heart and being her kindhearted self, Luz is able to prove to the Titan that she deserves help in finding the glyphs and defeating Belos.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- The subversion of the Chosen One and Luz realizing she has no fated destiny comes off even more extreme considering the show reveals several characters have backgrounds that would fit perfectly in a Chosen One backstory. Namely, King is a Titan descended from THE Titan worshipped by the witches as a god, Hunter is cloned from the first human to marry a witch, and Eda and Lilith are implied to be descended from said witch-human lineage. So Luz was not destined to be a Chosen One, but she inadvertently happened to befriend several along the way.
- In addition, in the series finale it turns out that Luz was secretly aided by the Titan in finding the glyphs, meaning she did eventually become a Chosen One after all.
