• Anvilicious: Befitting a French comic, the series is not subtle with its' anti-aristocracy themes, depicting the upper classes as grotesque, inbred, savage monsters literally preying on the lives of their oppressed subjects.
  • This is, however, only just exaggerated from the cruelty and degeneracy of the aristocracy at the height of its power.
