• Older Than They Think: While Batman appearing in a Sesame Street project is surprising, this isn't the only time it has happened. There were some animated inserts from the first season of the main Sesame Street show where Batman and Robin appeared.
• Spiritual Successor: Many early reviews called Season 1 Sesame Street's version of The Muppet Show due to following the format of celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and backstage antics.
