• Batman's guest appearance. Never mind that he's been on Sesame Street itself before, the idea of a gritty comic book superhero appearing on a light-hearted talk show parody is just so jarring it's hilarious.
  • What really sells it is his actor (who isn't credited, unfortunately), who is trying so hard to stay in-character by speaking in this deadpan tone the entire time he's on-screen.
  • Cookie Monster asks Batman what's up with all the music cues that play whenever he so much as moves. His response? "That happens when I do stuff. It's a superhero thing."
• In the Nature Nick episode, Cookie Monster eats a microphone, followed by a loud belch accompanied by a microphone screech.
• Elmo introduces Kacey Musgraves with the fact that she's from Texas. Then a cat in the audience starts cheering loudly.
  Elmo: Okay, we— We have a Texan here.
  Other Cat: He's from Houston!
