• Tear Jerker: Graves' past. He watched everyone close to him get slaughtered horribly…TWICE. The first was his family and town getting butchered by Orcs when he was 10. The second time was when he had to endure the Firstborn Dragon Typhon obliterate his True Companions during Operation Elder. It's no wonder that Graves has become the steely-eyed man he is today. Then, just when he seemed to be learning to love life again the Lotus-Eater Machine brought all of his issues back with a vengeance.
  • "The Ugly Side of Right" is half Tearjerker and half Nightmare Fuel. The tears start when Graves comforts the ghost of a little girl who was murdered as part of a Blood Magic experiment, which he does by telling her a story about his own family before the first spoilered bit above happened. The nightmares start when Graves deals with her murderer in a rather horrible and ironic manner.
  • "Journey's End" - Let's just say the entire bloody fic is just a set up to the penultimate one: Graves sacrificing his only exit out of a dark, corrupted dimension to help the Mane 6 and is left behind, wounded, with almost no magic, and all matter of nasties surrounding him.
