  • You'll need a strong stomach to read this book. It's full of things that are gory, disgusting, or just plain disturbing. Some examples include fifteen-year-old Mo Ran sleeping with a prostitute, corpses having sex in front of Mo Ran and Chu Wanning, and Mo Ran making out with a dead body because he was tricked into thinking it was Chu Wanning.
  • After Mo Zongshi's death an utterly broken and grieving Chu Wanning was captured by the undead Taxian-jun who wasted no time to drug and rape Chu Wanning. Taxian-jun is well preserved corpse, Chu Wanning is to mentally broken to consent if he even would in the first place.
