  • Designated Villain: Not a living being per se, but the firewall that blocked Timmy from passing by was just doing its job.
  • Nausea Fuel: The joke of an Australian girl living inside a kangaroo's pouch becomes this to viewers who know a kangaroo's pouch basically functions as its uterus.
  • Squick: The "threatmantic" love note manages to cross the line back into being funny. Timmy's dad writing in the love note that Trixie, a ten-year-old-girl, is more attractive than his own wife? Not so much.
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Like with Trixie's tomboyish side being revealed in "The Boy Who Would be Queen", this episode revealed that Veronica has a secret crush on Timmy Turner, which would've made for an interesting character trait and could potentially evolve her into Timmy's Third-Option Love Interest. Alas, it was only brought up in one later episode, and was completely dropped after that.
  • Values Dissonance:
    • The episode has a brief scene where Timmy's dad gets takeout from a Chinese restaurant. Said establishment features a logo in Wonton font, the sole staff member has slits for eyes and a bowl haircut, and the fortune cookie that he gives features a "Confucius says" joke. The early 2000s saw the last remnants of East Asian stereotypes in cartoons.
    • Another gag features Crocker in Incredibly Conspicuous Drag, with the joke being that A) He's ugly and B) He enjoys it. It comes complete with a stock scream sound effect when he puts it on.
