- Awesome Music: The whole jazzy soundtrack, but the opening track "Brothers In a One Hat Town" and the ending theme "The Perfect Con" stand out the most.
- Genius Bonus: The line "Nine months and a thousand years ago", which Stephen attributes to Rudyard Kipling and which Bloom tells him he's wrong about, is indeed paraphrased from The Man Who Would Be King—but the 1975 film version, not Kipling's original 1888 novella.
- Tear Jerker: Stephen's death
