- Unintentional Period Piece: One of the film's sub-plots revolves around the protagonist having a long-overdue VHS tape he needs to return to a video rental store (and he does, come hell or high water). But by the mid-2010s, the video rental store, has almost completely gone the way of the dodo, in favor of online video streaming.
