• Scrappy Mechanic: Falling Meteors. The mechanics are clever, and the cats are adorable, but it prevents the players from building any exterior buildings until after they have the tech and supplies to construct meteor shields (and depending on how big they want to build, that could be a lot of meteor shields) Even the basic meteors cause a lot of fire and can spawn deadly alien creepers, you can easily hurt/kill yourself if you try to harvest the meteor before it cools, and the and rarer meteors can summon blazes, or ruin the landscape with tons of water blocks. To make matters worse, the meteors are programmed to land within a small area around a random player (defaults to only 250 blocks) so if you're working on your house, chances are the meteor WILL fall on it. There's even a good chance that you'll be directly taken out by a meteor with no warning.
