- Awesome Art: A lot of the animators who joined in on the remake are extremely talented.
- Awesome Music:
- The short begins with a cut version of "Out With A Bang" by Self (band), and yes, the show enters and out with a bang indeed.
- The short ends with a RED Heavy, who was struggling to play a guitar at first, play the acoustic version of "Another Song About The Weekend" over the credits.
- The day is saved by the Protagonist air-guitaring to The Story So Far's "States and Minds".
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The entire "Dragon in Skyrim" scene, even within the context of THIS Mind Screw is the weirdest moment in the video. It is never mentioned againRebel from Half-Life 2: ...the hell did you just do?
- Crosses the Line Twice: Most of the jokes.
- The "kangaroo wife" scene takes this to a whole 'nother level. A RED sniper accidentally shoots himself in the chest with his own sniper rifle, and it's treated as funny. Then a BLU Soldier lands next to him, and the tone of the scene turns somber when he pays his respects to the dying Sniper with "I will send my condolences to your kangaroo wife," note followed by Sniper thanking him before expiring with sad music playing. Then a RED heavy appears out of nowhere to completely wreck the moment, blowing the BLU Soldier away with his minigun right after claiming "We fight like men" and sending the latter into an angry, pre-pubescent tirade. It's hilarious.
- Harsher in Hindsight: The video description contains the message, "I'm not dead yet, so keep your pants on." At the time, a funny reassurance directed towards those who were worried about the three-month-long gap since his previous video, but now...
- Heartwarming in Hindsight: In a June 2020 update for Garry's Mod, one of the new menu backgrounds serve as a homage to the late Kitty0706 himself, while immortalizing him permanently through a start-up screen poster.
- Heartwarming Moments:
- The ending. A bunch of REDs and BLUs gathered around watching Protagonist teach a Heavy how to play guitar.
- Several years after the original's debut, it has been immortalised among the local community by having an over 100 member strong collaborator crew to remake it. The second purpose of the remake? To raise money for awareness of leukaemia, the disease that killed Kitty0706. The goal was cleared multiple times over, raising over $16000 out of a $2000 goal in three days. The video can be seen here.
- Nightmare Fuel: Everything after Protagonist accidentally unleashes Spunky the Imp is either this, or hilarious.
- The moon from Majora's Mask. That is all.
- One of the names crossed off the list is "You".
- The background becomes just freaky for a bit! Then it turns into the evil version of the Mario Kart map.
- Tear Jerker:
- The parts of the description reassuring the audience that he isn't gone, considering what happened to the creator just a few years later.
- The scene where Spunky forcefully turn the mercenaries into his cybernetic slaves can be heartbreaking to some. At one point, a Heavy is resisting their attempts at turning him in, to no avail.
- The moment where the protagonist lost his trusty guitar.
