  • There's so much to unpack. Dean verbally delights in the idea that they have a case involving strippers, but the Siren does not appear to him as a stripper like the other victims but a Suspiciously Similar Substitute for Sam in the form of Agent Monroe. This delighted any slash fans who wanted to see Dean as less than straight, but one could interpret it as Dean simply prioritizing his relationship with Sam over anyone else, including women. Wincest shippers, in particular, take delight in the fact that the Siren manifested as Dean's idealized version of Sam.
  • In the original script, Nick the Siren actually strokes Dean's hair in the scene where they confront Sam. Why was that cut?
