• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: The Chaos, the vast and deadly nebula around Eos' Dyson Sphere, is inhabitated by the Wrae, a downright eldritch-looking species that attacks anyone who ventures into their territory. Despite their cool design and some subtle yet tantalizing implications about their nature, they have no involvement in the plot at all; one can play through the game without ever even encountering them. This feels like a huge missed opportunity. It also extends to their territory at large - over a dozen planets hidden in the galaxy's deadliest region, with absolutely nothing on them.
