• Awesome Music: Jeff Russo departed the series with the ending of Season Two. Taking his place for the final season are Stephen Barton and Freddie Wiedman. As the composer of the premiere, Barton gloriously does his own rendition of Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner's Enterprise/Spacedock themes from The Motion Picture and The Wrath of Khan. The End Credits similarly incorporate new renditions of the TMP/TNG March, Goldsmith's beloved First Contact theme, and even snippets of Cliff Eidelman's The Undiscovered Country theme.
