• Anvilicious: Vance is willing to torpedo a peace treaty with the Emerald Chain unless Osyraa is held to account for her crimes. Despite Osyraa's protestations that the post-Burn universe is one of Grey-and-Grey Morality, and that the treaty's generous terms will bring the Chain into line with the Federation's moral principles and genuinely bring peace and prosperity to the galaxy, Vance is adamant that there can be no true peace, nor any true reckoning with the past, until Osyraa faces justice, and that letting a criminal who hurt millions of people get off scot-free for the sake of political expediency would be a betrayal of Federation principles.
