- Harsher in Hindsight: With the six year gap between the second and third album, many were anxious about how long it would be for the potential fourth album. Sadly, they broke up while working on it.
- Moral Event Horizon:
- Father Dorian crosses this in the song, "The Evangelist." There, he rapes and impregnates the main character before later doing the same to the resulting grandchild.
- Same for the protagonist in "Apparation", where he kills his family.
- Nightmare Fuel: Incurso is an incredibly creepy and unnerving album the whole way through. However, it's quite an amazing album, verging on Creepy Awesome.
