• Squick: The boys forget to buy tampons for Shelly. When they return to Stan's house, they are greeted at the door by a wave of her menstrual blood.
• Unintentional Period Piece: The main plot concept, with the boys trying to see the premiere of a movie trailer in time, would not have nearly as high stakes (comparatively speaking) nowadays. It's now more likely the movie trailer would be released online rather than be shown during the commercial break of a television show (unless it's a major TV event like the Super Bowl or the GRAMMY Awards), and the trailer would be available to watch online at your own convenience even if you're a few minutes late to the punch.
