YMMV / Snow, Glass, Apples

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: In-universe, the queen wonders if the dwarves willingly gave Snow White's body to the prince or were forced to do so by his soldiers with their spears and swords.
  • Complete Monster: "Snow White" is the unnamed, vampiric princess who is opposed by the supposedly "wicked" stepmother. Showing her inhuman nature by feeding on her new stepmother's blood, Snow begins draining her own father over years, sexually and physically abusing him until he dies a wasted skeleton of a man. When the new queen attempts to have Snow killed, Snow enslaves the dwarves in the forest and begins hunting travelers, killing many for their blood. While being temporarily defeated by a poison apple, Snow returns later to usurp control of the kingdom from her stepmother, having the queen cooked alive as the main course at Snow's wedding, free to terrorize the kingdom how she desires.
  • Squick:
    • Five-year-old Snow White draining her father's blood by sucking and biting every part of him. Every single part.
    • The comic book adaptation has some rather graphic and lurid scenes portrayed in full detail, including the queen imagining Snow White's severed head and hands covered in black blood, and twelve-year-old Snow White seducing a monk so she can drain him dry.
  • The Woobie: The queen loses her husband after he's drained of all his blood by his daughter. She tries repeatedly to kill Snow White to save the kingdom, but is thwarted at multiple turns (and the only reason she doesn't succeed is because she was too merciful and didn't finish the job). In the end, Snow White wins, and all of the queen's efforts to protect her kingdom only result in her being framed as Snow White's "wicked stepmother", paraded naked through the streets in the middle of winter, and roasted alive in a giant oven to be served as the main course at Snow White's wedding feast.
