  • Fan Nickname: Fishbunjin's Up-B was christened "Bazinga" by YouTuber Alpharad, after the Sheldon avatar his friend Miloni used. This name seems to have stuck among the community.
  • Fountain of Memes: Ultra Fishbunjin 3000, right down to his peculiar appearance, his hard-hitting moveset and his mannerisms. As a result, he's considered the unofficial mascot of the game by many fans, something the developers have caught onto, as he would go on to represent this game in Fraymakers.
  • Game-Breaker: Fishbunjin, unusually for the archetype in the Platform Fighter genre, was this when early access started. He was even heavier, much faster, had bigger hit-boxes, and was was an absolute Implacable Man, able to No-Sell his way out of most situations with his Up-B. He got nerfed afterwards, yet he's still a competent combatant in the right hands, capable of terrifying levels of speed and power, and his Down-Throw can still score some cheap kills.
  • Moe: The game's round and super-deformed artstyle makes many characters look very huggable.
  • Nightmare Fuel: In Smack the Crystals gamemode, you can choose Devil Insane difficulty. Unlike other stages in Smack the Crystals, the stage is ominously dark and red, and the normally harmless crystal balloons will attack you. They are extremely fast, unusually huge, and come from nowhere. If you failed to destroy all of these balloons, a large demonic hand appears from the sky and instantly KOs the fighters.
