• Angst? What Angst?: In some interpretations, the Loud siblings and their offspring will sometimes be depicted as not showing any regret that they've committed a taboo relationship or they're products of incest respectively, though of course this will always vary depending on the artist.
• Best Known for the Fanservice: Alongside the incest, the AU is also infamous for its gargantuan amounts of pornographic content.
• Bile Fascination: Unless you're a member of fandom who doesn't mind the incest, you'll very likely only be curious about the sin kids out of disgust of the mere thought.
• Broken Base:
  • The Sinkids AU, originally started as revolving around one character, but over time as more and more artist's began to discuss and create new works, places of discussion about The Loud House would become inandated with discussion not revolving around the actual show but around Original Characters and things not present in the show whatsoever, much to the annoyance of several fans, this would lead to places of discussion being created specifically for discussion or the AU and original character's.
  • There's something of a fracture within the fanbase itself. There are those who enjoy only the stories or fanart which are solely Porn Without Plot. There are those who only focus on the Porn with Plot elements (especially the potential emotional beats that can be achieved with such subject matter, good or ill, in the name of drama). There are some who enjoy some of all of it and treat it as a case-by-case basis. The bigger figures of the fandom usually conclude that anything related to the former, along with anything involving parent/offspring incest and harem, as non-canon. Even when they do works of it themselves.
• Fandom Rivalry:
  • With other Loud House fan-verses that more or less imitate the formula. Despite that, some characters, mainly half-siblings, get shared with each other. The Loudcest Universe by TMNTFAN85/Salvo is the biggest example out there. The former considered that the Sin Kids has no personalities beyond having sex with each other and their parents and aunts/uncle and the fandom is worshipping Patanu, who did some questionable actions. Meanwhile, the Sin Kids fandom conspired the Loudcest children of having no interesting personalities beyond torturing the former. The artist's artstyle, numerous bashing (such as torturing characters he doesn't like in horrid ways.) and overall stubborn reputation does not help.
  • The main Loud House fandom has a general dislike of the Sin Kids AU. Reasons of which including the gross connotations of incest, having no interest in completely original characters with no relation to the show outside of maybe through the Age Lifted canon Loud House characters, and having a fanbase considered to be less than enjoyable to be around. The feeling usually being mutual, with Sin Kids fans just being in it for said original characters and the AU's aged-up interpretations of the Loud House's canon characters, those fans losing interest in the show (the Seasonal Rot the show suffered somewhere in Season 3-5 didn't help at all), and them thinking that this AU got a little too much backlash from the main fandom for their liking.
• Incest Yay Shipping: An (in)famous case in the The Loud House fanbase.
• Narm Charm: Lincoln impregnating all of his sisters, which is even narmier if you consider the other non-main OCs canon. Its so over the top in how it pretty much takes Lincoln's fandom plot as The Casanova and runs with it so far one can't help but find it humorous.
• No Such Thing as Bad Publicity: The controversy surrounding the concept of Lincoln impregnating his sisters and other female characters on the show, especially the attempted crackdowns made by The Safe House, is what made the AU so popular.
• Recurring Fanon Character: As the existence of this page alone may tell you, the sin kids became so popular in the fandom that they spawned an entire AU and sub-community based around them.
• Squick: Pretty much the expected reaction by non-fans, let alone innocent fans of The Loud House, itself, considering the AU revolves around incest, Lolicon and Shotacon, and everything else that all entails.
• The Woobie: All the sin kids can end up like this depending on the work, but generally speaking the most common ones are:
  • Loan has it the worst of all. While all the kids usually have some form of issue, it's mostly an emotional one in the form of angst. Loan is the one who as a rule has various psychological disorders, nor is it uncommon for her to be the one most likely (if not the only one) to have suffered some form of abuse (be it at Lori's hands or someone else's, intentional or not).
  • Lyra is a Christian girl in an AU were usually everybody has incestuous relationships, which often puts a strain on her relationship with her family, especially with her mom and dad if/when she learns the truth.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: It maybe an Alternate Universe of The Loud House, but it's also an Alternate Universe where the offspring of the Loud Siblings are the results of Brother–Sister Incest.
