  • Anticlimax Boss: Geluve. She makes a big show when she first appears, killing both Megido and Hal while barely lifting a finger, which implies she's far more powerful than both of them. But when she sets her sights on you, she turns out to be really simple, largely just throwing endless Spectres and Peepers at Shyna, or using masses of them as Combat Tentacles. She's the easiest of all the potential final bosses to defeat, and is arguably easier than many mid-game bosses.
  • Awesome Music: The game has an overall amazing soundtrack, some highlights include:
  • Cult Classic: It's not as well-known as many of Treasure's other games, but it still has a sizeable fanbase.
  • Game-Breaker: Surosa. At Level 1 it's your basic pea-shooter, ineffective against most enemies but consuming very little energy with each shot. At max level, however, it becomes far and away the best weapon in the game with automatic rapid fire, very high damage output, and has no equal in draining Spirit from enemies to add to your own supply. It can even wipe out 90% of the bosses in the game in mere seconds. The best part? You can earn this weapon at max level in the second section of the very first stage of the game. Just find the hidden shop at the top of the cave and grind out a mere 300/900 Gold from the constantly-respawning Spectres nearby.
  • What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The game has plenty of Biblical references, minor swearing, alcohol use, and takes place in a post-apocalyptic world caused by a biological holocaust. Its rating? E for Everyone.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic?: Even in the Working Designs version, the game has loads of Biblical references and symbolism, including an image of a cross behind flames near the end (changed later to a tyrannosaurus rex-like monster). They even outright refer to one character, Clod, as Armageddon.
