YMMV / Sherlock Yack

Go To

  • Awesome Moments: After being exposed as the culprit in "Who Broke the Kangaroo's Hand?", Gorilla advances menacingly on Sherlock. Hermione saves him by throwing Chihuahua, who uses loaded boxing gloves, to punch out Gorilla. Also counts as one for Chihuahua, who immediately picked up on Hermione's cue and readied said punch.
    • "Who Ridiculed the Lion?" demonstrates that Hermione can be a sharp investigator on her own.
  • Designated Hero: Despite the episode being ostensibly about gender equality and tackling sexism, Skunk is never called out in "Who Ridiculed the Lion?" for taking advantage of Lion's involuntary inability to say no to impose herself as a member in the Feline Club, on the grounds of "equality". Of course, it didn't help that said club was portrayed as a Straw Misogynist group for the sake of the episode.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Hermione tends to be the most remembered character of the show, as well as the subject of fanart. Being a Ridiculously Cute Critter helps.
  • Nausea Fuel: Warthog's filthy habits, like those seen in "Who Made Stork Fart?" (such as dragging out long strands of snot), warrant at least a little of this. It definitely was to Sherlock and Hermione, in-verse.
  • Nightmare Fuel: It's fairly low-key, but Sherlock's absolute freak-out (mentioned in Primal Stance on the main page) is a bit unsettling. Especially considering how close he might have come to hurting Hermione in the midst of his anger, had she not bailed.
    • Gorilla's attempt on Sherlock's life at the end of "Who Broke the Kangaroo's Hand?" is also a bit unsettling. Especially if you're more accustomed to his later, Gentle Giant personality.
  • The Woobie: Sherlock sometimes crosses into this territory, considering his status as a Butt-Monkey.
