- Awesome Moments: The airship scene. After the Magma Sanctum, your party is captured by Malvil and imprisoned on his airship. Kellan and Talon both stay snarky throughout their interrogation, even when Talon is tricked into revealing the location of the Wraith Shard. Then, Curtis finds the strength to break out of his bonds, sends the guards flying with his kicks, and frees the other heroes, all set to some truly Awesome Music which keeps playing as you fight your way out.
- Cliché Storm: As expected of a love letter to retro JRPGs, this game uses many cliches and stereotypes of the genre. You've got a party of four, with a sword-wielding hero, a staff-wielding magician girl, a Bare-Fisted Monk who's The Big Guy, and a Deadpan Snarker rogue. They travel around the world, collecting four elemental crystals from appropriately elemental-themed dungeons, and along the way encounter familiar characters like a villainous prince, a duo of bumbling mercenaries who repeatedly try and fail to stop the heroes, and a pirate captain who lends you his boat.
