- Awesome Music: Wagamama de Gomakasenaide is a stellar electro-punk rock piece by The Oral Cigarettes, the band who also did the opening of Noragami's second season.
- Base-Breaking Character:
- Daisuke. On one side, he's praised for his Character Development in the last three episodes especially after Keisaku's death. Others hated him for being an Idiot Hero and a whiny hothead who often puts his friends in danger, and a Manchild who didn't realize how screwed up every situation he is in. Also, being voiced by an actor in the English dub who is known for characters with the same personality like Eren Yaeger and Shiro Emiya certainly didn't help.
- Marimari. She is either hated for being a Love Martyr towards an Idiot Hero like Daisuke, Shrinking Violet personality and not returning Keisaku's feelings before his Heroic Sacrifice or loved for her sweet demeanor and gaining confidence as the series progresses.
- Tearjerker
- Keisaku's anguish over his mother being kidnapped by the Revisions, culminating in witnessing her being harvested for Chiharu's new body and going on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge, sacrificing himself to destroy Chirharu. His teammates' reactions are also pretty heartbreaking, as they've lost the one who was basically The Heart of the group.
- Kuroiwa's death, spending his last moments to reassure the SDS to stay strong, defeat the Revisions and save Shibuya.
- Keisaku's second sacrifice in the last episode, making sure to keep Nicholas from causing any more harm and ensuring Daisuke makes it back to 2017 with their friends.
- Wangst: Daisuke, so very much. He grows out of this after Keisaku's death which triggers his Character Development.
