- Awesome Music: All the 4 season themes for Cyborg Edition give a comfy slice-of-life vibe. The battle theme for the Gundar Robo fight also breathes a lot of life on the simple quick-time-event minigame.
- Memetic Mutation: "かめだしね" (Die, Kameda) became a meme among fans who hate Kameda's bullying of Hero 1.3 in the story because it is a valid custom character password.
- The Scrappy: Kameda will keep coming up with excuses to rob Hero 1.3 of his hard-earned money throughout the story, and all to build a giant robot final boss that becomes nastier the better the player performs. Many players who failed to save Yukari thanks to Kameda's actions came to
despise the guy. This led to the introduction of an alternate universe Kameda for the RPG scenarios from 4 onwards who never quits being an antagonist but gets increasingly shafted by other villains as the series goes on. - That One Boss: Gundar Robo at max difficulty barely gives you a second to react to each Quick Time Event and has FIFTEEN hit points (you get just five, and you lose two at once if you press anything before a prompt comes up). The input prompts come in kanji, so it is going to be all the more confusing if you're unfamiliar with them. It's a good thing that the battle is skippable and that losing to Kameda and becoming his slave at least doesn't scrap your custom character.
