  • Awesome Animation: ceno0 is considered one of the best SFM animators in the TF2 community and with very good reason.
    • The animations make liberal and creative use of letterboxes in SFM, taken to its logical extreme by well... EXTREME.
    • The Shout-Out to Dead Space in part 1 looks incredibly convincing, like it was actual gameplay footage - and technically it was, as shown in the production clips in the credits, showing that the mook in the POV of the "player" is actually parented to an invisible player-controlled Heavy and some of the mook's animations being driven by the invisible Heavy's via inverse kinematics, which is very clever.
    • EXTREME also has him almost perfectly emulate the style of the 3D Guilty Gear games and nails it to a T. As many who are knowledgeable of how Guilty Gear's unique 3D style was achieved can tell you that it's a very involved process.
  • Awesome Music: ceno0 has great taste in music.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: During the intro of EXTREME, one of the Gratuitous Japanese credits translates to "There are Russian soldiers outside my house". What was likely intended as a bit of fitting Gallows Humor from ceno0 (who lives in Ukraine) quickly turned sour when Russia began an invasion of Ukraine barely a week after the video's release (though thankfully, ceno0 himself lives far from the front).
  • Memetic Mutation: Needless to say such a popular TF2 animation would naturally lead to people making memes out of it.
    • The scene of the two Heavies running is pretty popular for edits, with most of them being people replacing the music used in the original with few others that are deemed fitting.
    • BLU Heavy's reaction upon seeing the Extra Thicc Anime Girls has quickly been turned into a variation of Mr. Incredible becomes Canny memes. With the anime girls being replaced with other things.
    • Sex... NOW Explanation
    • Naturally because of it's status of being already a meme, EXTREME's rendition of "Both? Both? Both. Both is good.", has become a quite popular reaction image as well.
    • Pootis StatusExplanation
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • The Shout-Out to Dead Space in part 1 is amazingly well-animated and perfectly captures the claustrophobic survival horror the series is iconic for. It becomes hilarious when Mr. X Heavy appears and starts channeling Mio Honda, but the way he chases the guard down without flinching from his jarringly out of place Step! dance is still rather unsettling.
    • The Orbital Piledriver super of Buff Soldier uses against the BLU Heavy is awe-inspiringly awesome, and the impact skidding Heavy's bald head around on the pavement is hilarious considering the Heavy's complete apathy to it... until it becomes too much for him to No-Sell and his neck snaps like a tree branch from the sheer force. When his glasses shatter, one can make out the distinct visual of his eyes rolled back. He gets better less than a minute later, though.
